About The Position
The position involves planning and implementing military strength personnel operations within HQs, NORAD, and USNORTHCOM. The incumbent will review, analyze, and interpret regulations, directives, and reports pertinent to military personnel matters for the N&NC J1 and the Commander. The role includes providing management advisory services on assigned programs, offering comprehensive and timely guidance to customers at all levels, and counseling officer/enlisted personnel worldwide on career opportunities within N&NC. Additionally, the position requires participation in special initiatives, studies, and projects, where the incumbent will take the lead in identifying resources, establishing milestones, and ensuring project accomplishment. Effective written correspondence and oral presentation of information are also key responsibilities, including writing various documents such as tasker responses, reports, and letters.
