About The Position

A Human Resources Specialist III is responsible for managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle within an organization. Their primary responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, conducting interviews and background checks, handling employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Additionally, they may be involved in performance management, employee development, and organizational development initiatives. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five to seven (5-7) years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and executes programs to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity.
  • Conducts surveys and analyzes feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Organizes team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborates with managers to address employee concerns and promote open communication.
  • Analyzes workforce data to identify skill gaps and develop strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assists with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Provides guidance on HR-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
