About The Position

The Peraton HR Shared Services Team is seeking an HR Shared Services Representative to join our team. This Hybrid position is in Herndon, VA. The selected candidate will maintain detailed knowledge of HR service areas and answers employee inquiries pertaining to HR programs, processes, procedures, and communications. Responds promptly to employee inquiries and requests, including employment verifications, document retrieval and general HR assistance. Additional background and experience required for this role includes but not limited to: Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring completion of necessary documentation, orientation coordination, and system set-up. Serves as an escalation point for shared services support as needed. Organize file and manage both physical and digital employment records in compliance with company policy and data privacy regulations. Provide support for various HR functions and projects as assigned, maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high standard of service. Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of High School diploma plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish collaborative working relationships with others.
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business needs, taking on unforeseen assignments in addition to regular workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, e.g., MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
  • Workday HRIS experience and HR related skills desired.
