Requirements

  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, providing guidance, and maintaining positive workplace morale.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain HR records, process payroll changes, and track attendance and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to support employee growth.
  • Serve as a point of contact for benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate and support HR initiatives, such as engagement programs and diversity efforts.
  • Assist in investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure HR best practices align with business goals.
