About The Position

The position involves performing clerical and administrative support for the Human Resources Department. The role encompasses various aspects of Human Resources including employment and recruitment, benefits, events, leave of absence (LOA), data entry, general correspondence, filing, record-keeping, and guest service inquiries through email, phone, or in person.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • At least 21 years of age and able to provide all documents required for work in the United States.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Service employees at the front counter and applicants applying for jobs.
  • Handle incoming calls on a multi-phone line.
  • Complete processing and onboarding for new hire employees using HireXpress, LabCorp, and HRLogix.
  • Check the Human Resources drop box.
  • Maintain all employee files.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Assist employees with benefit questions.
  • Print current and new employee ID badges.
  • Maintain the termination log and termination checks.
  • Update name and address changes for terminated employees.
  • Assist with employee events and recognition programs.
  • Provide administrative support to all areas of Human Resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations as they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
