Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answers phones and processes mail for the HR department. Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. Performs data entry for new hires and position changes. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks. Maintains department records, uploads, and files documents into appropriate team member files. Assists with on-boarding process. Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. Performs customer service functions by answering team member requests and questions. Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff. Protects organization’s value by maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
