About The Position

Requirements

• Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college.
• One year of professional experience, preferably in human resources, or satisfactory completion of an approved training program.

Nice To Haves

• At least four years of experience in the employment hiring process, including interviewing, reviewing applications, and making job offers.
• At least four years of experience editing and reviewing position descriptions.
• At least one year of experience creating and posting job vacancies utilizing SuccessFactors human resources software.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned aspects of the employment process, including posting, bidding, job notifications, hiring, background checks, Upward Mobility Lists, and Recall Lists.
• Assist with the hiring interview process.
• Draft establishments, clarifications, abolishments, and other position actions for position classifications for supervisor/manager approval.
• Serve as a liaison and provide routine guidance and assistance to agency employees and management/supervisors regarding employment-related matters and inquiries.
• Prepare, maintain, and store a variety of HR records, reports, and files.
• Cross-train and provide backup to other Units in the Section to ensure functions are performed consistently.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
