About The Position

The Human Resources Support Coordinator is responsible for providing professional and administrative support to the Human Resources Department through a broad spectrum of duties including benefits and COBRA administration, data entry, audits, onboarding, file maintenance and ad hoc projects as necessary. The HR Support Coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. Must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment. Your role will help ensure the HR department operates effectively to deliver maximum value to our Team Members and the company. Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Experience as an HR Generalist; 1 year preferred.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interact with all levels of the organization as a main point of contact for team.
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
  • Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws/regulations and company policies.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling conflicts.
  • Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, including grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office and property.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
  • Office environment may include variable temperature and lighting levels.
  • Casino environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise.

Responsibilities

  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Outstanding administrative and communication skills.
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events.
  • Maintain and audit 1-9 documents to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain calendars and agendas for the HR team.
  • Work in close partnership with all HR Team Members and Leadership to be a credible resource for our applicants and Team Members.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the Team Member experience and partner with the HR team to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
  • Ensure all inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner.
  • Support any other special projects as needed.
