Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! The In-N-Out Burger Human Resources team has an excellent opportunity for an HR Project Coordinator based out of our Irvine, CA office. This position is full-time, in-office only. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Project Coordinator to support internal HR initiatives and projects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and eager to work closely with cross-functional teams to help drive HR process improvements, system implementations, and compliance efforts. The HR Project Coordinator will help plan and manage projects, provide support to various teams, and ensure timely communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate and support internal HR projects, particularly smaller-scope initiatives or segments of larger projects under the guidance of a Project Manager.
  • Develop and maintain project execution documentation including timelines, task lists, and status reports.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project stakeholders; manage project communications to ensure alignment and timely updates.
  • Understand project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables from the initial planning phase.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to support project progress and identify potential challenges or dependencies.
  • Organize and lead team meetings, manage progress updates, and support structured workflows to ensure timely task completion.
  • Anticipate and escalate project roadblocks, issues, or changes in scope to appropriate team members or leadership.
  • Use tools such as Asana, Jira, Teams, or email to track project status and maintain visibility across all stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of rollout materials and deliver clear, engaging presentations for HR team updates and training sessions.
  • Ensure all projects are aligned with HR policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and best practices to ensure quality and consistency across initiatives.
  • 1+ years previous experience in HR coordination, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and communication platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, Teams).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of HR policies, compliance, and internal team dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation tools.
