There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our hiring initiatives by managing the background check processing for external hires. Your contributions will be vital in fueling our growth as you play a key role in onboarding the talent that will shape our future. You will oversee the completion of background checks, drug tests, and medical screenings for candidates who have received job offers, as well as for internal placement activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all background checks, drug tests, and medical screenings required for federal, business, and other customer contracts are completed accurately and on time. You will be accountable for making hire/no-hire decisions based on a thorough review and analysis of each candidate's background, applying local and federal laws as necessary. This will require you to exercise sound judgment and weigh multiple, unique factors to make fair and appropriate hiring decisions. You will review criminal convictions, analyze the relevance of duties and job-relatedness, consider the history of rehabilitation, and assess the recency of infractions. Balancing all recommendations will be crucial as you consider candidate history and associated risks or exposures. Your role will also involve supporting Internal Audit, Ethics, and Legal departments with customized background and medical screening requirements. You will work closely with our background check vendor and candidates to ensure the timely and thorough completion of the screening process. Furthermore, you will interpret and communicate the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) laws, policies, and requirements to recruiters, HR Business Partners, and other business stakeholders. Direct communication with candidates and recruiters will be necessary to gather information and documents required to complete background reviews, especially when the vendor is unable to obtain verification. In cases of adverse findings, you will ensure compliance with the FCRA and applicable local laws, serving as the focal point for candidate disputes. You will provide consultative discussions to Recruiters, HRBPs, Security, and Ethics as needed for independent case reviews, ensuring that all processes are handled with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
