Reporting to the Manager, People Team, your primary responsibility is to provide local People function point-of-contact service to business team members, playing a key role in the execution of local People priorities and deliverables within the defined People strategy. This role is also to utilize local business knowledge and understanding gained from working deep within the business, to provide feedback and insights to People Team Manager, People Leads, and relevant COEs in the development of appropriate solutions. The position is onsite at our Florence, South Carolina, location.

  • Business's point-of-contact for the People function, escalating to Manager, People Experience and People Leads, and relevant COEs as necessary.
  • Leverage knowledge of local business area perspectives, to provide local insights and perspectives to People Leads and Manager and/or COEs, to ensure local matters are appropriately addressed and considered.
  • Provide initial diagnostic level advice and guidance to business leaders, engaging COEs as necessary.
  • Coach and guide Managers, and support in the effective prioritization and delivery of an engaging team member experience.
  • Utilize relevant information / COE metrics / indicators, to gain insight on local business area people issues, to provide leadership teams with the appropriate clarity for People related initiatives and priorities.
  • Provide specialist and expert advice, guidance and counsel to managers, supervisors and People function colleagues on all team member relations issues, policy interpretation and questions.
  • Conduct investigations in line with applicable practices, and in support of Compliance team directives.
  • Complete and maintain appropriate logs/trackers/systems, to ensure a full picture of team member relations activity - informal and formal processes, advice given, outcomes issued, inquiries, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience using HR principles to inform and engage work communities
  • 3+ years' experience supporting HR investigations
  • 3+ years' experience coaching management on team engagement and performance.
  • 3+ years' experience of HR change management
  • 1+ years' experience using HR data to inform deliverables
  • Experience using HR knowledge to coach and consult in a Warehouse/Fulfillment center environment
  • Experience managing conflicting and concurrent tasks
  • Experience guiding agreement from company partners who are affected by HR activities
  • Experience engaging with leaders and company partners across business groups and QVC Group locations to obtain thoughtful understanding of QVCG's business processes, applications, policies and other practices as they relate to HR.
