About The Position

The Human Resources Operations Coordinator at PowerSchool plays a vital role in enhancing the employee experience through effective onboarding and offboarding processes, HRIS management, and benefits administration. This position is part of the People Experience (PX) team, which is dedicated to supporting the global workforce and driving business results by attracting, developing, and retaining talent in the K-12 education sector.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to stay organized while balancing big picture and detail-oriented responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Willingness to assist across the people team as needed.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a people ops or human resources-related role.
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding and offboarding tasks for employees globally, including background checks and I-9 verification.
  • Support and maintain the Employee Recognition Program.
  • Assist with compliance standards and practices, including annual handbook recertification.
  • Contribute to people process initiatives, including automation and maintaining SOPs.
  • Provide excellent customer service when addressing employee questions via email and ticketing systems.
  • Participate in special projects to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
