About The Position

DT Professional Services is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Operations Clerk to join our team in Norco, CA. This onsite role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team. This position assists with personnel records management, onboarding coordination, and routine HR functions to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy civilian workforce requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to thrive in a secure, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 1–3 years of administrative or HR support experience (ideally in a government or military setting).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using databases and tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel data.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting a Department of Defense or U.S. Navy client.
  • Familiarity with DoD/Navy civilian personnel systems and terminology.
  • Experience working under a government contract environment, including knowledge of contract deliverables or task order support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR office, with primary support to staffing and classification functions.
  • Support onboarding processes by reviewing pre-employment documentation, verifying eligibility, coordinating access and CAC appointments, and assisting with orientation and onboarding briefings.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and reports (e.g., HRLink, DCPDS), including supervisory hierarchies, onboarding metrics, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Manage personnel records in compliance with DoD/Navy standards, including filing, scanning, tracking, inventory, and records destruction.
  • Serve as front desk support by responding to inquiries, answering phones, and directing customers to appropriate HR personnel.
  • Prepare, format, and route HR documentation, correspondence, and personnel action requests.
  • Coordinate scheduling for HR activities such as interviews, orientations, training sessions, and ceremonies.
  • Track onboarding progress and maintain communication with new hires, supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure timely processing.
  • Support training compliance tracking and assist with HR-related events (e.g., benefits fairs, onboarding sessions).
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in HR systems, trackers, and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive personnel information in accordance with federal regulations and CUI requirements.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document management and office support tasks.
