About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee human resources for the agency related to labor relations, staffing services, compensation, and training.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of HR support staff.
  • Monitor agency's labor relations and advise on disciplinary proceedings.
  • Facilitate Labor Management Committee meetings and participate in labor negotiations.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for the agency.
  • Advise on disciplinary actions and employee grievance processes.
  • Initiate classification actions and conduct compensation analyses.
  • Provide guidance on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) matters.
  • Prepare and deliver training on various HR topics to supervisory and managerial staff.
  • Consult with agency directors and managers on HR-related issues.
