About the position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Chambersburg, PA. In this role, you will partner with site leadership to lead and facilitate a range of associate-focused HR functions, including managing associate relations and investigations, administering leave of absence and workers' compensation programs, and supporting feedback and engagement initiatives. You will play a key role in promoting a positive workplace culture by ensuring fair and consistent practices, driving strategic initiatives that support associate retention, and delivering data-driven solutions to enhance associate experience and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of key HR services including associate relations, workplace investigations, leave of absence management, workers’ compensation administration, and associate engagement programs.
  • Lead the response to complex and escalated associate concerns, ensuring timely and thorough investigations and resolutions.
  • Manage leave of absence and workers’ compensation processes, working closely with associates, managers, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth coordination and legal compliance.
  • Facilitate feedback and engagement initiatives to support retention and a positive associate experience.
  • Partner with site and senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on associate relations trends, organizational development, and risk mitigation.
  • Advise leaders on best practices in coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Serve as liaison between client groups and HR specialist functions (e.g., benefits, legal, compliance) to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Facilitate the delivery of Learning & Organizational Development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or directly related year for year experience.
  • 4 years HR Generalist experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (or equivalent HR credential).
  • Proven track record of success in implementing HR practices in high-volume, fast-paced environments, preferably in distribution or manufacturing, or industry with similar hourly workforce.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to provide valuable insights and drive HR initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage associate relations with professionalism and discretion, including conducting thorough workplace investigations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal/state regulations to include EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA and AAP.
