About The Position

As a strategic business partner to the manufacturing plant leadership and staff, the Human Resources Site Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing workforce effectiveness. This position is responsible for executing policy and standard operating procedures, managing employee relations, enhancing employee engagement, providing recruiting support, administering pay and leave, and assisting with training and development. The HR Site Manager acts as an employee champion and change agent, anticipating HR needs and proactively collaborating with human resources headquarters to develop holistic solutions. All actions taken in this role must adhere to ethical standards, legal regulations, and company policies. The HR Site Manager fosters an inclusive workplace by actively addressing biases and promoting diversity. This role collaborates with leadership to develop and implement the organization's HR and talent strategy, which includes assessing talent needs, recruitment, retention, and succession planning. The position also manages the talent acquisition process, overseeing recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles. The HR Site Manager analyzes compensation and benefits trends and proposes competitive programs to attract and retain top talent. In addition, the HR Site Manager partners with the learning and development team to direct, coach, or train on policies and practices, while also taking initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. The role requires administering and executing routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, managing leave, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and supporting staff with complex and sensitive issues. The HR Site Manager processes worker's compensation claims and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. The position also involves managing HR metrics administration, including recruitment, retention, training, employee engagement, performance, and productivity, while ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements. The HR Site Manager develops and presents clear business cases, change roadmaps, and presentations for leadership and employees, serving as a senior management team member responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures. This role requires travel to other sites, including job fairs, trade shows, off-site training, and personal development events, but it will be sporadic. Other duties may be required in support of the department and the company.
