About The Position
Join the City of Albany as our new Human Resources Manager! The City of Albany is excited to announce an opportunity to shape the future of our growing Human Resources Department. Following recent approval from the Albany City Council to expand HR staffing, we are seeking a forward-thinking Human Resources Manager to lead daily operations, drive innovation, and champion service excellence across the City. In this newly budgeted role, you'll work under the general direction of the Human Resources Director to oversee key HR functions including recruitment and retention, benefits, leave administration, training and development, classification and compensation, workforce planning, and more. You'll be instrumental in coaching and supporting a team of HR professionals, enhancing department capacity, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
