The Human Resources Business Partner at GTRC Services, Inc. plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive Human Resources support within the Distribution Center. This position is responsible for the administration of HR policies and procedures, organizational development, onboarding, and addressing basic employee relations issues. The HR Business Partner will execute the Human Resources strategy, ensuring effective organizational design and administration of related processes. In this role, you will shape a culture that aligns with Guitar Center's goals and initiatives by coaching managers in implementing core people processes. This includes performance management, salary reviews, job evaluations, tracking internal promotions, and creating internal job offers. You will also communicate and interpret policies and procedures for Support Center associates, assisting the management team with employee relations issues. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring legal compliance by managing state and federal requirements, handling subpoenas, and conducting employment verifications. You will be the point of contact for general HR inquiries, maintain HR organizational charts, and create reports and analyses for the employment lifecycle, including background checks and unemployment claims processes. Representing Guitar Center in unemployment hearings and fostering effective working relationships with managers and employees will also be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will promote an environment of open communication and honest feedback, participate in the discipline and discharge of associates, and create new hire orientations, exit and stay interviews, and turnover analysis reports. Drafting and distributing general HR communications, maintaining organizational charts, and performing investigations when required will also be part of your duties. Overall, this position requires a proactive approach to HR management and a commitment to supporting the organization's goals.
