About The Position

Northern Virginia Adolescent Treatment Center is anticipated to open Spring 2026 and will offer Residential Crisis Stabilization Services for adolescents ages 12-17 in a 16-bed facility. The Human Resources Manager is r esponsible for all phases of human resources within a facility to include recruiting and selection, o n boarding, new hire orientation and payroll processing . R esponsible for compensation, employee relations and worker's compensation .

Requirements

  • Bach elor's degree in Human R esources , business or related field required .
  • One to three years' p revious experience in a Human Resources leadership role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor r elations and negotiation and human resources information systems required .

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day HR functions for the facility.
  • Interpret HR policies for staff and respond to staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Translate complex information and provide highly specialized advice in a specific Human Resources discipline.
  • Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas.
  • Manage and implement corporate and local Human Resources programs to fulfill state and federal policies and regulations.
  • Identify data needed for repor ts and ensure reports accurately capture and present information appropriate to the audience.
  • Communicate information to all levels of the facility, including leadership, staff and other community members.
  • Resp onsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse teams, including experienced and junior professionals.
  • May lead projects that impact the facility at the request of leadership or corporate Human Resources.
  • Responsible for compensa t ion, employee relations and worker's compensation .
  • Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
