Children’s Harbor is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a Norfolk-based non-profit organization that serves the Early Childhood Education industry. The HR Manager will provide guidance and support to the CEO and other department heads while improving efficiency and inter personnel relationships. Working in our fast-paced environment, the HR Manager will be responsible for developing HR policy and providing sound advice to department heads/ CEO with respect to the HR function ensuring that company-wide operations are aligned with established business objectives and conducted smoothly and in an effective manner. The HR Manager must be an experienced professional with knowledge of all core HR areas: staffing, training, benefits, performance evaluation, worker’s compensation, and legal and safety requirements. The role requires integrity, trustworthiness, and an individual with the desire to help cultivate a team-oriented culture. Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices.
