About The Position

The HR Manager will lead and oversee all human resources functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with labor regulations. This role is responsible for overseeing the HR Generalist, and the Talent Acquisition Specialist, driving KPI’s and HR initiatives, developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, particularly within manufacturing or similar industries, and demonstrate the ability to drive change and support business objectives. Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the facility’s operational goals and the organization’s overall vision. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify workforce needs and implement effective solutions Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Oversee recruitment and efforts to attract and hire top talent for both hourly and salaried positions. Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance and overall success of the department Develop strategies for talent pipeline development, including partnerships with local schools, universities, and training programs. Develop and maintain a seamless onboarding process for new hires. Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly, maintaining a fair and consistent approach. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and teamwork. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews. Partner with the training team to support employee development and career growth. Partner with the safety team to ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols and initiatives. Partner with safety on OSHA compliance, workers compensation, and reporting/site visits Identify leadership development opportunities to strengthen management capabilities. Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Collaborate with management team to review and adjust pay structures as needed. Educate employees about available benefits and support them in utilizing resources effectively. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Develop and maintain policies and procedures that promote a safe, equitable, and compliant work environment. Lead investigations and resolutions of employee-related issues, including workplace incidents and disciplinary actions. Support managers and supervisors in handling HR-related matters, providing guidance and training as needed. Manage HR budgets, including training and development, recruitment, and employee programs. Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of administering and compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or a similar work environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Paylocity is a plus
  • Payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Full cycle recruiting experience preferred
