The HR Manager will lead and manage all human resources functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting operational excellence through effective talent management.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive labor market.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate development programs.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance training is conducted regularly.
  • Lead performance review cycles and coach managers on feedback delivery.
  • Monitor employee performance and support improvement plans.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage audits and reporting requirements.
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs in coordination with finance/payroll teams.
  • Benchmark compensation and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Track and analyze HR KPIs (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, training hours).
  • Provide insights and reports to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
