We are seeking a self-driven, passionate, experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with and support our US based distribution facilities in the Midwest/East Coast region. The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted business partner to leadership and employees, supporting a wide range of human resources functions. This role will be hands-on in managing daily HR branch operations while also contributing strategically to key initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will have served as an HR Manager or Sr. Generalist with depth of experience in employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, hourly recruiting, new hire orientations, and onboarding. Multisite / Regional HR experience is very highly desired. Preference will be for applicants with this background, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act as a change agent. This role balances operational HR responsibilities with a strategic mindset to foster a positive, engaged, and compliant work environment. This position may have 1-2 direct reports. More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following: Act as an HR advisor, building strong relationships and providing coaching, guidance, and support to leaders and employees across the district. Maintain a strong understanding of business operations and the role of HR in supporting business goals. Use data and insights to inform HR initiatives and influence decision-making. Manage day-to-day HR matters, including employee relations, workplace investigations, leave of absence administration, and HR compliance. Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures, with an emphasis on reducing risk and ensuring legal compliance. Support corporate initiatives such as benefits open enrollment, employee engagement surveys, and retention efforts. Lead and support onboarding, orientation, and hourly recruiting efforts in coordination with local hiring needs. Develop and deliver programs to enhance employee engagement and retention. Promote a transparent, inclusive, and positive workplace culture by being visible and approachable to employees. Travel to support regional locations as needed (up to 30%).
