The Human Resources Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and prudence of responsiveness by the HR Team in all aspects of Human Resources including employee inquiries and relations, incident and complaint investigations, managing HRIS and personnel records, employee training and development, policy interpretation, performance and behavior concerns, conflict resolution, and compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including wage and hour matters, leaves and absence matters, benefits administration, compliance matters, and workers compensation administration. The Human Resources Manager is charged with diligence, best practices, objective governance and decision making. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for maintaining theoretical human resources knowledge for practical and diligent application to real-work matters. The Human Resource Manager is responsible to ensure the Company’s compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws; and the Company’s impartial fairness in all decisions and actions. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for responsiveness, workplace leadership, clear and appropriate communication, as well as ensuring that all matters handled by human resources meet all industry and professional standards. Secondarily, the Human Resources Manager supports the work of the Talent Pipeline, Risk, and general Employee Services by offering assistance, support, guidance, and oversight to HR Specialists, as it is needed. The Human Resources Manager works closely with the Company’s designated managers as well as the entire Human Resources team. Working on a cross-functional team and under the guidance of the HR Director, the Human Resources Manager contributes to improving the department’s KPI’s, reduces risk, and ensures the company’s compliance and limited liability in personnel related matters.
