The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership in the areas of workplace conduct, payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, performance, and HRIS. The successful candidate will work in our USAntibiotics headquarters in Bristol, TN and will be a part of our dynamic human resources team supporting the USAntibiotics manufacturing site.

  • Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs, hiring and onboarding procedures for field associates.
  • Maintain employee files, handle workers' compensation claims, file unemployment insurance, and address associate employment issues.
  • Assist the management team with miscellaneous HR functions.
  • Oversee operations of payroll functions, complete verification forms, and coordinate with payroll staff.
  • Direct, train, and appraise assigned personnel, keeping management informed of area activities.
  • Monitor and develop a positive workplace that recognizes high performance, quality, efficiency, and speed.
  • Research compensation standards to create competitive salary structures and educate associates on benefits.
  • Monitor and report on compensation data and total compensation statements.
  • Communicate benefits information and HR policies to managers and ensure effective dissemination to personnel.
  • Train, direct, and coordinate personnel on benefits programs and requirements.
  • Work with team members and operations managers to determine associates' performance and training needs.
  • Suggest changes in policies and procedures based on associate and company needs.
  • Coordinate benefits and payroll programs to ensure consistency and establish company-wide goals.
  • Ensure benefit programs and payroll functions are cost-effective and within budget constraints.
  • Manage administration of the HRIS and establish procedures for standardizing personnel transaction records.
  • Interpret HR policies and procedures and translate them into HRIS process procedures.
  • Serve as the SME on HRIS and partner with stakeholders to recommend and implement functional modifications.
  • Coordinate data collection and support processes related to benefit changes, HRIS, and compensation plans.
  • Provide leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide measurable feedback to staff.
  • Plan and manage recruitment programs and host recruitment open houses.
  • Engage with colleges and certification programs to create influence programs and awareness of opportunities.
  • Onboard all employees and handle all employment compliance activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of payroll, compensation, benefits, HRIS, FLSA, and employee relations.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and legal hiring practices and procedures.
  • Excellent listening, interviewing, facilitating, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet required timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and accept ownership for assigned responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of ADP payroll processing is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
  • Government contract work knowledge/experience.
  • Healthcare and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Workday experience.
