The Miami-Dade County People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD), Personnel Section, is seeking a high-level HR professional to oversee the recruitment and compensation/job analysis activities of the department. The incumbent in this position will work closely with the Chief, Human Resources, as well as with divisional and departmental leadership to ensure an effective administration of an equitable and fair recruitment process, develop and implement key strategies to attract and retain talent, and to review classification and compensation actions. The HR Manager will also be responsible for providing guidance to hiring managers and employees in interpreting and ensuring appropriate application of personnel processes, policies, and procedures. This position may lend itself to Miami-Dade's Telecommuting Policy, which includes flexible work schedules and remote home working in those areas where such a policy is viable and meets the goals and objectives of the operations.
