The Human Resources Manager is a vital role that supports our organization's commitment to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and productive work environment. The HR Manager will take the lead in creating strategies for effective staffing, employee relations, performance management, training development, benefits administration, and legal compliance. As our Human Resources Manager of Employee Experience, you will play an instrumental role in developing and expanding programs in alignment with our organizational mission and values. This role is pivotal in supporting the design and implementation of strategies to enhance the overall employee experience within the organization, aiming to improve engagement, retention, and overall employee satisfaction with an increased focus on creating a culture rooted in belonging.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a comprehensive employee experience strategy focused on improving employee engagement, retention, and sense of belonging.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare that support employee overall satisfaction.
  • Design and manage programs to boost employee engagement and retention.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback through employee surveys and other forums.
  • Develop and execute a survey strategy with thoughtful survey design, cascaded results, action planning, and leader accountability.
  • Create programs that support the needs of a diverse workforce.
  • Develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives to support diversity, address systemic barriers, and promote an inclusive environment.
  • Design, implement, and manage recognition programs that acknowledge employee achievement and contributions.
  • Lead event management activities that create positive employee experiences and foster a sense of belonging and appreciation.
  • Ensure all aspects of responsible programs support the mission and values of our organization.
  • Partner with HR Leadership to ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations, legal requirements, and all relevant laws.
  • Develop leader and frontline employee communication strategies to support the success of programs and new initiatives.
  • Provide education and guidance to managers and employees across the organization as needed.
  • Responsible for the fiscal management of all employees experience programs, working within the allocated budget.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers to create positive partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources team, leadership, and other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Use data analytics to inform decisions for strategy development and effectively communicate and support program effectiveness through the development and delivery of meaningful reporting.
  • Effectively lead, evaluate, coach, and develop team to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other work-related discipline required.
  • 5-8 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience directly related to Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience and managing operational teams.
  • Prior experience in healthcare highly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree in a similar field of study from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Certified Employee Engagement Professional (CEEP) or Certified D&I in Human Resources highly preferred.
