About The Position

The Human Resources Manager, Business Partner is responsible for delivery of HR support for a site, and strategic business partnering for a business unit. This role requires a professional who can balance strategy development for a dynamic business unit, with day-to-day execution and results. Support may be in a variety of HR areas including talent strategy, employee relations, performance management, staffing, organizational development, talent development, immigration, communications and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7+ years of related experience
  • HR experience in a manufacturing/product development environment
  • An organized, results-oriented approach and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Higher education or HR certification
  • Experience with Workday HRIS.
  • Demonstrated partnering with COEs, across functions, and in a matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies in partnership with key leaders at the site.
  • Drive talent strategy for the business, including organization structure, leadership capability across regions
  • Interact with employees and managers to address employee relations proactively and resolve issues with a collaborative and systematic approach.
  • Conduct interviews, inquiries, investigations, exit interviews, and focus groups.
  • Facilitate excellence in workplace culture and communications practices.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for management development.
  • Facilitate development plans and actions for key talent.
  • Leverage, provide input to, and implement training and development programs.
  • Perform and improve upon processes such as onboarding, orientation, unemployment claims, and leave of absence management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and employee records.
  • Facilitate completion of required compliance training.
  • Leverage Workday system, Engagement Survey Data, and manual tracking to report talent metrics, identify trends, and implement actions.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to leverage global programs and ensure successful implementation of HR processes including performance management, talent review, compensation planning, development, engagement surveys, & benefits enrollment.
  • Participate in and/or lead projects
