About The Position

This position is for someone who wishes to make Hospitality and Human Resources a career. The Leader In Development (LID) program is a management training program directed to entry level candidates with at least an Associate's Degree (or equivalent) to develop management skills by training them in all aspects of Human Resources, to include: associate recruitment, selection and on-boarding, safety and security programs, associate development programs, associate relations, associate counseling and benefits administration. This position is intended to be a training position, so candidates must be able to relocate upon completion of the program. This program starts in June 2026 and ends in June 2027.

Requirements

  • Must have at least an Associate degree, with emphasis in Human Resources or Hospitality preferred
  • Willingness to work 47.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to relocate upon completion of the program

Responsibilities

  • Provides a warm and approachable greeting to all associates and/or visitors upon entrance to the ASC offices.
  • Assist with compliance.
  • Monitors and answers phones within 3 rings and professionally handles all phone inquiries.
  • Monitors and maintains Associate Programs to include: birthday & anniversary listings and cards, ASC bulletin boards, OSC and other postings as appropriate.
  • Participate in planning and execution of associate events.
  • Provides administrative and technical support to the HR Director.
  • Responsible for special projects as directed by the HR Director.
  • Organize and order all office supplies, including nametags, OSC & All-In cards.
  • Processes purchase orders.
  • Files and maintains all Associate records, ensuring compliance with HR SOPs and legal requirements.
  • Prepares memos and other correspondence, including employment verifications, in a timely manner.
  • Tracks and updates expiring I9’s monthly.
  • Maintains clean, organized Associate Services Center
  • Maintains adequate par level for New Hire Orientation Packets.
  • Assists with conducting pre-screenings and reference checks of potential associates.
  • Complies with all terminated associates files and ensures Exit Interview documentation is completed for term files.
  • Collaborate with departments throughout the hotel to support Employee Relations and gain understanding of the hospitality business.
  • Develop associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards, department communication boards, posters and flyers.
  • Develop networking contacts and coordinate local job fairs with local colleges.
