About The Position

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a two-year rotational program designed to prepare and develop the next generation of leaders within the human resources function. HRLDP Associates will develop leadership and technical skills through a variety of rotational experiences, formal & informal training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Participants will spend 12 months in both rotations at one or more of our U.S.-based locations. This accelerated program will provide associates with rotational experiences through different facets of the human resources function, gaining exposure and valuable development experiences within a global organization. During the first rotation, HRLDP participants will complete a year as an HR Specialist at one of nVent's manufacturing sites. Roles for the second rotation may be on any of the enterprise teams, which could include one of the following: Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Enterprise HR (HRBP). The second rotation is meant to continue to build skills and capabilities for eventual final placement in an HR Business Partner role at the conclusion of the rotation program.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources development, human resource management or related degree.
  • Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 and available to begin full time employment in June 2026.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
  • Geographic flexibility and open to relocation both during and upon completion of the program.
  • Previous internship or work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Leadership experience and industry-related internship experience a plus.
