About The Position

If you are a Human Resources student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Human Resources Intern! Based in our Shakopee, Chanhassen or Eden Prairie, MN location, you will be involved in a variety of HR responsibilities with a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's (students of any class status will be considered).
• Zero (0) years of related experience.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Prior internship experience.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business or Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the HR team in a variety of projects/tasks that will cover a broad set of HR disciplines including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition.
• Participate in the onboarding of new employees.
• Opportunity to work across the HR department to gain a broad understanding of the different specialties and functions within HR.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
• Support system improvements and assist in investigating, resolving and/or escalating HRIS issues.
