About The Position

Our fun and collaborative People & Culture team is looking for an ambitious HR Intern to take on some independent projects, support ongoing initiatives, and help with day-to-day operations. This internship will offer hands-on experience across a wide range of HR specialty areas — from employee engagement and talent development to process improvement and internal communications. You’ll take ownership of meaningful work while also directly assisting our Senior HR Business Partner, gaining first-hand insight into how strategic HR supports organizational success. This fully-remote internship can begin as soon as possible and is expected to run 3-4 months. It offers flexible hours between 9am and 5pm, but candidates will need to work a total of 12 hours per week spread across a minimum of 3 weekdays.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working successfully in a professional virtual environment.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Suite and ability to quickly learn new tech tools and software systems.
  • Completion of at least one college-level course related to HR management.
  • Exemplary writing skills.
  • Organized systems-thinker; curious and proactive.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion, as this role will involve sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute creative ideas for new organizational resources to support managers and boost employee engagement, develop new tools, and audit existing materials.
  • Draft and proofread internal communications such as announcement emails, feedback surveys, and newsletter articles.
  • Help analyze a variety of HR data sets and prepare presentation decks summarizing insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and organize employee files, tracking spreadsheets, and documentation in compliance with internal processes.
  • Prepare responses to internal requests or questions by gathering information from policies or systems.
  • Provide close administrative support to the Senior HR Business Partner, including behind-the-scenes assistance on employee relations matters.
  • Prepare paperwork and assist with logistics for employee changes.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.
