About The Position

As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands-on activities, coaching, and project work. A few learning opportunities include: Support the Human Resources and Safety teams in the planning, executing, and monitoring of key projects and initiatives. Analyze and present findings on the most effective training delivery methods for the wide variety of employee skill levels and generational characteristics. Report training tips that resonate with the employees, discussing any direct correlation with retention and the employee experience, and knowing how to use the tools available to them. Support the development of best practices as it relates to training employees how to become better engaged and self-sufficient with the tools available to them. Develop and deliver engagement strategies for employees. Research and respond to user inquiries and issues.

Requirements

  • Must have completed your Junior year at a credited College or University.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Desire and ability to work well both independently and cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Inquisitive individual with a desire to gain knowledge through experience.
  • Ability to perform all duties required in both office and manufacturing environments wearing proper PPE.
  • Reliable transportation to and from working location.
