About The Position
At AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO), college students are provided with an opportunity to gain practical experience and valuable mentorship through our internship program. Founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 1905, AMERICAN is a leading manufacturer in the waterworks and oil and natural gas industries, producing a diverse range of products including fire hydrants, valves, ductile iron and spiral-welded steel pipe, fire pumps, structural casing and piling, castings for waterworks products, and specialty rubber products. The Human Resources Intern will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, particularly in Talent Acquisition and Training. This internship is designed for juniors or seniors currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Instructional Design at a four-year college or university. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and/or Training, and will be able to begin the internship in Summer 2025. The intern will engage in process improvement projects, conduct research on candidate experience and employer branding, and assist in various other Talent or Training areas, providing a comprehensive learning experience in the field of Human Resources.
