About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist at Hobby Lobby is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies while supporting management in resolving employee concerns. This full-time role involves advising on personnel issues, facilitating compliance with ADA guidelines, and serving as a resource for management regarding employment law. The position is based at Hobby Lobby's corporate campus in Oklahoma City and requires collaboration with the HR/Benefits/Leave/Legal Department.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of federal employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA.
• At least 3 years of experience advising on employment law compliance and HR policies (multistate preferred).
• Experience facilitating the Interactive Process under the ADA.
• Experience investigating employee complaints.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; SAP experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
