The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of activities in the Human Resources Department, including Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Employee Engagement, Training, and Recruiting.

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. in appropriate Human Resources, Business or Psychology discipline preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a broad range of Human Resource functions
  • Demonstrated skills in understanding and supporting the team concept, active listening, problem solving and maintaining confidentiality
  • Past experience with an HRIS system preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that are aligned with the organization and HR strategies and goals
  • Responds to general questions from employees and managers related to policy interpretation
  • Serves as initial point of contact for meetings/discussions with employees
  • Assists in presenting policy/procedure related information to employees and managers through HR Learning series
  • Conducts exit interviews and tracks exit interview data
  • Maintains EEO-1 data and provides reporting updates on annual basis
  • Maintains any and all compliance tasks to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards
  • Partners with HR Compliance as needed to ensure employees' licenses and certifications are maintained
  • Works with managers on action plans to address non-compliance, including removing the employee from the schedule
  • Plans and actively participates in employee engagement and recognition events
  • Completes employment verifications in accordance with Network policy
  • Composes letters and documents relevant to retention and employee relations
