About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring effective workforce management, and fostering positive employee relations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of FMLA regulations and processes is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of human resource experience.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview and facilitate the hiring of qualified job candidates for open positions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand the skills and competencies required.
  • Order background checks for selected candidates.
  • Complete all processes for onboarding new hires.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Conduct periodic audits of employee records and files.
  • Consult with supervisors and staff regarding employee relations concerns including corrective action and documentation.
  • Support and maintain knowledge of the benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTS, HRA, FSA, and 401(k) to answer questions and support with open enrollment.
  • Assist with employee events and recognition.
  • Provide information and interpretation to managers and employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Participate with other HR staff in planning, developing policies and workflow procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources and talent management.
