About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operation of the Human Resources Department. Daily tasks will include: Reviewing Personnel Action Forms for completeness and accuracy and resolving discrepancies, handling HRIS data entry administration as it pertains to hires, terminations, transfers, licensing, promotions, pay increases, performance reviews, etc. Pulling reports and performing audits of HRIS system to ensure accuracy in the inputting of data, running and distributing weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, as necessary. Additional tasks will include assisting with benefits and leave of absence administration, assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, employee and labor relations, compensation/licensing administration, promoting positive public relations, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources
  • General knowledge of State, Federal and HR laws, practices, and policies
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality / professional discretion
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects and assignments simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and timekeeping systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Motivated self-starter, confident and able to navigate through change
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work, execute flawlessly and understand HR processes

Responsibilities
