Our Newest Opportunity: Our Opportunity The HR Generalist assists with the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department in a dynamic and fast-growing organization. The successful Generalist will support the entire employee lifecycle. This role not only supports a divisional team, but they also align closely with our parent company’s HR organization. This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our regional office in Rockwall, TX

  • Partners with leaders and employees to support employee engagement
  • Provide policy guidance and coaching to department leaders on issues related to all areas of human resources including, but not limited to employee relations, performance management, diversity, equity & inclusion, company policies, compliance, engagement, retention, leaves, and accommodations.
  • Sets the tone for a great employee experience through new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Maintain Workday records for events such as: hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
  • Take ownership of all Employee Benefit Open Enrollment activities, including creation of plan summaries and employee communications.
  • Brief employees on key benefits; answer questions concerning benefit practices and policies, COBRA-related questions and benefit discrepancies.
  • Respond timely to questions regarding payroll and employee benefits.
  • Partners with FP&A team to report on key metrics.
  • Provides support to key employee communication efforts including maintenance of the team Sharepoint site and All Hands meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
  • 4-6 years of HR Generalist experience
  • 1-3 years in Benefit Administration
  • Success in working in a matrixed organization
  • Exposure to growth through M&A
  • Demonstrated knowledge of benefit programs and related regulations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, requests, and other duties with a strong ability to prioritize them to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt quickly to ever-changing business needs.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel records and HR information.
  • Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Ideal candidate has PHR or SPHR, but not required.
  • Background in PEO or HCM software a plus
