About The Position

Human Resources Generalist (Experienced or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing's Human Resources function is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Experienced or Senior) to join our Enterprise Engineering Human Resources (HR) team supporting our BCA 787 Airplane Programs Engineering organization in North Charleston, SC. As a strategic HR partner, you’ll partner with leadership to support site expansion and rate increase readiness of the 787. This role is critical in supporting business growth through effective workforce planning, staffing execution and operational readiness while delivering on core HR services. The selected candidate will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources (HR) organization, namely HRG’s supporting BCA Engineering and 787 program, the specialized HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and the 787 Engineering leadership team to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated HR solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 3+ years of experience in deploying and administering HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects
  • Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs
  • Experience working in a business environment partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources
  • Human Resources certification(s)
  • Experience adapting to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements
  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of business priorities and be able to translate them into action plans that drive business results
  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand staffing needs aligned to site expansion and growth plans.
  • Lead end to end staffing activities, including workforce planning, requisition prioritization and hiring execution.
  • Develop project plans, timelines and milestones; track progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Center of Excellence (COE) partners to ensure alignment and on-time delivery to meet business priorities.
  • Monitor staffing progress, identify risks and adjust plans to meet business timelines.
  • Identify improvement needs in staffing and onboarding experiences, and drive the plan, execution, and results for those improvements.
  • Support leaders through change and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices are utilized.
  • Lead, support, execute key HR processes.
  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered.
