About The Position

SUMMARY This role will support various HR functions within our organization and will possess a wide-ranging knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and effectively engage with employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) Serve as a focal point of contact for an array of day-to-day HR administrative functions. Coordinate recruiting efforts and employee onboarding of new hires and internal transfers/promotions Assist with position control and org chart management · Provide support in various HR-related topics such as benefits, policies, performance management, training, etc. Assist with benefits open enrollment and wellness program. Initiate and monitor all 90-day and annual reviews processes Uphold HR policies, ensuring fair and consistent application across the organization. Be aware of employee relation concerns to ensure proper handling. Support opportunities for employee development by assisting with implementation of training programs. Keep accurate employee records, including data entry and documentation. Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Support employee events, programs, and initiatives. Assist the Talent Acquisition group when needed on the end-to-end recruitment process. Occasional overnight travel to branch facilities or for training as needed. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) – both verbal and written. Serve as a back-up to other HR team members and assist with special projects, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required
  • 3-5 years HR generalist background including working knowledge of employment regulations and compliance requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related HRIS software.
  • Well organized and ability to balance multiple projects in a confidential and prioritize in a time pressure sensitive environment.
  • Ability to gather facts, organize processes, develop recommendations and decisions in a wide array of HR oriented situations while interacting with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • UKG software experience a strong plus.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification are preferred or expected to achieve within two years.
