About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 737 Program Human Resources team is looking for an enthusiastic 2nd Shift Human Resources Generalist (Associate or Experienced) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a real impact on our workforce. This role will support our 2nd shift teams and fully onsite in Renton, WA.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
  • 1+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, and processes
  • 1+ year of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes
  • 1+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • Passion for HR and a knack for building relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
  • A team player who embodies our company values and promotes a positive culture.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • Human Resources certification (SHRM and/or PHR Certification)
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce plans to meet organization objectives
  • Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and technology, with preferred applications experience in Workday
  • Experience navigating a matrix organization experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Engage with employees daily on the floor, building relationships and understanding their needs, concerns, and aspirations.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and career development opportunities, ensuring every employee feels valued and supported.
  • Connect with and influence employees and leaders to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees, advocating for their needs and helping to implement initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns in real-time, providing solutions and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Collect feedback and insights from employees to identify trends and areas for improvement, helping to shape our HR strategies.
  • Maintain a visible HR presence on the manufacturing/production floor for real-time engagement and solutions.
  • Promote open communication and guide discussions to collaboratively resolve workplace issues in a positive and fair manner.
  • Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices, and processes and serve as subject matter expert (e.g., performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.).
  • Partner with manufacturing/production leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals and address workforce challenges.
  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to provide input on HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and support the delivery of programs.
  • Maintain records of employee interactions and resolutions or follow-up actions.
  • Resolve or refer HR Service Center employee issues.
  • Identify recurring employee concerns or trends, reporting these to HR leadership to develop proactive solutions or interventions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and implement integrated HR initiatives that align with and advance organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and resource for employees at all levels, addressing concerns, guidance on company policies, providing HR consultation and coaching, and acting as a neutral party in resolving conflicts.
  • Be a visible champion of Boeing’s values and behaviors—modeling our expectations and reinforcing them through consistent employee interactions.
