About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall HR function within a hybrid work environment across the United States. This position is responsible for managing a broad range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with federal and state employment laws. The HR Generalist acts as a trusted advisor to employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring effective communication throughout the organization. By handling day-to-day HR operations and contributing to strategic initiatives, this role helps drive employee engagement and organizational success. The ideal candidate will balance operational efficiency with a strong commitment to employee well-being and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration platforms and applicant tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or support organizational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, communication, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and assist with audits and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement HR policies and programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate training sessions and employee development initiatives to promote a culture of continuous learning.
