About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: This position helps ensure smooth, compliant, and employee-focused HR functions that contribute to a positive and well-organized workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or HR coordinator role.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems and tools, including Office 365, Outlook, and HRIS
  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective communicator with a professional, diplomatic approach to employee interactions
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative, hands-on HR team

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or other equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a seasonal, hospitality, nonprofit, or multi-site environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including enrollments, life events, FMLA/ADA, and the 403(b) retirement plan
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing responsive, confidential, and employee-focused support
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding efforts, including job postings, orientations, and required documentation
  • Support performance management processes and department-wide HR initiatives and projects
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel records, and routine reporting to support compliance and decision-making
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, internal communications, and other HR operational needs as assigned
