About The Position

Performs Human Resource related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: benefit administration, employment, payroll, HRIS system administration, training, and employee relations. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures. Participates in developing departmental goals, objective, and systems Assists in quarterly audits of HR records. Assist in the recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel. Reviews resumes/applications; schedule and conduct personal interviews; create formal offer letters; conduct new-employee orientations; internal job posting administration; write and place advertisements. Ensure and monitor pre-employment requirements; background investigations and pre-employment/post offer physical and drug screens Track and complete E-verify reporting within the reporting time limit for new hire Helps with orientation and onboarding Assists with benefit administration to include initial benefit enrollments, benefit communications, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees. Assists with annual open enrollment including assisting in the review of potential benefit providers Assists with Leaves of Absence administration, Worker’ Compensation, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and FMLA claims Responds to unemployment claims and participates in hearings Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed Rewrites job descriptions as necessary; participates in annual salary surveys Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment Assists with the company wellness program; incentive, reward & recognition program; Community Out Reach programs; and activity committee for company and charity events All employees are responsible for having an awareness and understanding of Rotorion North America’s commitment to ISO 14001 Responsible for daily and monthly KPI reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two – three years’ experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved OR Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer software applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to deal with sensitive/confidential material
  • Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Must be able to walk/move about a 400,000 sq ft manufacturing facility: 20% of the time
  • Must be able to stand/walk/move about specific work area: 50% of the time
  • Must be able to bend/reach/twist/stoop: 15% of the time
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs on a frequent basis: 40% of the time
  • Must be able to lift over 15lbs on an infrequent basis: 10% of the time
  • Must be able to sit at a work station: 80% of the time
  • Must be able to work and operate a computer terminal: 80% of the time
  • Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computer terminal/machine centers, etc.
  • Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, vendors, suppliers and customers via conversation, group meetings, and/or phone conferences
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
