About The Position

Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join us in a full-time capacity in our Kansas City, MO office. Location Requirement: This work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring three (3) days in the Kansas City, MO office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week. Role Overview: The HR Generalist supports day‑to-day HR operations by maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and assisting with audits, policies, and documentation. This role provides hands‑on support for benefits, compensation activities, and leave‑of‑absence administration. The incumbent also contributes to culture and engagement initiatives, employee events, and feedback programs. Additionally, the role handles key HR processes such as tuition reimbursement, contractor conversions, recognition programs, compliance training, and HR system content updates. Through strong attention to detail and a service‑focused approach, the HR Generalist helps deliver a positive and efficient employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources is required.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is required.
  • Proven experience working with HRIS platforms and managing complex data sets is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborative effectively, build relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
