About The Position

Viridian Staffing’s Client is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist with payroll and budgeting experience, to help manage a fast-paced cannabis company in the Tri Cities area. Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the premier staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry. You will be responsible for working closely with the Store GM's and Executive Leadership to handle all day-to-day HR Generalist activities, including but not limited to hiring, on-boarding of new personnel, processing payroll, working with the appropriate Washington legislative agencies to ensure compliance with labor laws, investigations, managing HR specific vendor relationships (ie Benefits, HR Systems), month end reporting, budgeting and all other needed HR responsibilities. You should have at least 2+ years of HR experience as a Generalist, including the handling of payroll. Ideally, you also have 1+ year of experience as an HR Practitioner in a Cannabis and/or Retail environment. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration is preferred. If you are knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Human Resources Management, payroll, and have a positive, patient, and 'roll up your sleeves' attitude, this could be the right position for you. Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-skills are also required.
