About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the recruitment process, employee relations, performance management, employee counseling, and training, as well as administering employee programs, including benefits. The role provides HR support to managers and employees at the site location, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of employment law, federal and state regulations.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and multi-task.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process including job postings, resume review, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and the entire onboarding process.
• Assist in administering transfers, promotions, discipline, and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
• Assist with the performance management process; provide feedback and/or recommendations to management on employee performance reviews.
• Maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
• Develop and/or facilitate training programs at the location.
• Serve as backup for payroll.
