About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support to leadership and staff employees in functional areas of human resources including departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, employee commitment, recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, and organizational development, following departmental policies and procedures, and federal and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Associates degree plus two years of experience or Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
  • Coordinate the new employee orientation program and prepare orientation materials.
  • Educate new employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Arrange and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations, and log data accurately.
  • Manage student intern and co-op programs including processing of affiliation agreements and other requirements; obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Arrange assignments to specific hospital departments when applicable.
  • Determine type of orientation and schedule accordingly.
  • Participate in departmental special projects and functions.
  • Engage in performance improvement activities.
  • Perform related duties as required.
