The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a range of HR functions supporting the employee lifecycle, promoting a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and working closely with HR management in supporting HR functions.
Administers recruitment process and serves as primary contact for recruitment.
Coordinates with hiring authorities on staffing needs and maintains the applicant tracking system in HRIS.
Timely posts open positions on GBC website and reviews hiring platforms to source applicants.
Creates weekly recruitment advertisements and schedules interviews.
Conducts background and reference checks of applicants and attends career fairs.
Follows applicable labor and employment laws, regulations, guidelines, and GBC policies.
Assists Director of Human Resources with development of HR policy and procedures.
Provides daily coaching for directors, managers, supervisors, and employees.
Monitors all phases of the employment process and assists with stay and exit interviews.
Participates in activities to promote CORE values and encourages employee morale initiatives.
Maintains HRIS system and conducts research to provide statistical reports.
Maintains credentialing of contractors and monitors all professional licenses.
A bachelor's degree in human resource management, business, healthcare management, or related discipline.
A minimum of three years' progressively responsible human resources experience.
BA/BS in related field and five years' progressively responsible human resources experience.
