The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a range of HR functions supporting the employee lifecycle, promoting a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and working closely with HR management in supporting HR functions.

  • Administers recruitment process and serves as primary contact for recruitment.
  • Coordinates with hiring authorities on staffing needs and maintains the applicant tracking system in HRIS.
  • Timely posts open positions on GBC website and reviews hiring platforms to source applicants.
  • Creates weekly recruitment advertisements and schedules interviews.
  • Conducts background and reference checks of applicants and attends career fairs.
  • Follows applicable labor and employment laws, regulations, guidelines, and GBC policies.
  • Assists Director of Human Resources with development of HR policy and procedures.
  • Provides daily coaching for directors, managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Monitors all phases of the employment process and assists with stay and exit interviews.
  • Participates in activities to promote CORE values and encourages employee morale initiatives.
  • Maintains HRIS system and conducts research to provide statistical reports.
  • Maintains credentialing of contractors and monitors all professional licenses.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resource management, business, healthcare management, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years' progressively responsible human resources experience.
  • BA/BS in related field and five years' progressively responsible human resources experience.
  • SHRM, PHR, and/or CEBS certification.
